In Ritual We Unravel

For this series, In Ritual We Unravel, I wanted to explore chaos not as something loud or explosive, but as something quiet, internal, and often unnoticed. The internal kind, where tension builds in the stillness before things break. The rituals we cling to, just before they unravel. Each photo places a small, repetitive ritual into a setting that feels strange or slightly off. Acts of control that usually ground us, suddenly start to feel misplaced. Are they holding things together, or showing us what’s unraveling underneath?

My work is rooted in a cinema verité and documentary style. I’m drawn to real people, real places, and the weird beauty of daily life. I like to shoot in that space where the familiar slips. Where routine turns fragile and something deeper starts to surface. Not everything breaks with a bang. Sometimes, it’s a slow burn.
