Kirk Scully 002 - 8x10 Original Print

Kirk is a Musician, Clothing Designer and Filmmaker/ Photographer. He has ADHD so he definitely resonated with the theme of Chaos for this show. 

ADHD can manifest in lots of different ways, and for Kirk the only way he has found an outlet to turning his ADHD into a superpower is through his creativity. From sewing, to photography, skiing, filmmaking and music and more he prefers to stay moving. Where he currently lives in Denver, he has turned his garage into a space where he writes and records music, hangs out and plays pool and designs clothing. He is working on an album right now, and has been recording for that and writing for that in the same space where he has been sewing bucket hats out of old clothing. He makes those bucket hats to sell as his merchandise and help fund his music career. The decision to upcycle old clothing, is rooted in the fact that he wants to inspire others around him, to consume less, and to try and reduce waste. The fashion industry is the second largest polluter besides oil and in 2024 alone generated 11.3 million tons of textile waste. 

The series depicts the Chaos within the creative process, especially when overlapping processes within one confined space.
